You cannot become a native speaker
A native speaker is a person who grew up speaking the language as a child/learned the language as a first language.
You can't go back in time to become a child and change the language that you spoke as a child. Therefore, it's not possible to become a native speaker.
However, anyone at any age can become fluent in English and learn to speak just like a native speaker.
But honestly, for most of you, "speak like a native speaker" is probably not a good goal.
There are two reasons:
1. Many of you are never going to achieve that level of English because you have other things in your life that are more important. So, when you choose "speak like a native speaker" as a goal, you are setting a goal that you are never going to achieve, and you are always going to feel bad about your English.
For those of you who know that you cannot spend 10+ hours a week learning English, it's better to set smaller weekly, monthly, and yearly goals that you can actually achieve. That way you will actually achieve your goals, and you will enjoy learning more.
2. Native speakers make lots of grammar mistakes, and their pronunciation is often lazy and difficult to understand. In my opinion, it is a lot more impressive when people speak clearly and use good grammar.
However, if your goal is to speak like a native speaker, that's completely fine. Go ahead and do that. For some people, that goal makes sense.
However, saying that you want to "become a native speaker" is like saying that you want to be born again. By definition, it's not possible.
